The Calderwoods of Echo Hill Farm have been making maple syrup in East Craftsbury, Vermont  for five generations. Our award winning syrups have placed “Best of Show” in international maple competitions, the Vermont Farm Show and our local fair.

We pride ourselves in combining modern production with generations of tradition to produce 100% pure Vermont maple syrup and maple cream. Our syrup carries the Calderwood family name, your guarantee of the finest production techniques and maple flavor. We are FDA and State of Vermont inspected-scoring a 100% for the cleanliness and safety of our sugaring process. Up-to-date, energy efficient equipment reduces the carbon footprint of our syrup production.

All of our maple products are made from sap we collect and process at our sugarhouse.  Our products are wonderful for traditional uses such as a topping for pancakes, waffles or French toast. But how about maple as a sweetener for your coffee of tea? As a glaze for carrots? In your favorite bread recipe? We even add a tablespoon of maple syrup to spaghetti sauce. Try it- we bet the combination of sweet maple and zesty tomato will become a family favorite for you as it is for us.

Visit the About Maple Syrup tab for descriptions of the different grades of syrup.

You are welcome to visit us during sugaring season to smell the sweet sap boiling in our sugarhouse and see maple syrup being made.
