About Us

The Calderwood family has produced agricultural products in Craftsbury since the late 1800’s, first on Calderwood Hill and now on Echo Hill.  For five generations we have produced potatoes, milk and maple syrup for the market place. Currently we focus on maple syrup production and raising young goats for our son’s goat dairy located on a separate farm.

From mid-February to mid-April we spend most of our time in the woods or sugarhouse. Throughout the rest of the year Randi harvests crops to feed the cows for a local award winning cheese maker and Louise supports a number of agricultural endeavors through teaching, writing and government relations work.

Randi is the Assistant Chief of the Craftsbury Volunteer Fire Department and both Calderwood’s assist with many community activities.
